Delivery policy:

We aim to dispatch goods as soon as possible after payment has been made to us. Usually the same day or within 2 working days, unless we state at time of order that the item is out of stock.

Due to the international nature of our business, we use the most suitable carrier applicable at reasonable cost and therefore delivery times can vary considerably. Our quoted prices always include carriage. If you require an urgent delivery then we will be pleased to quote you.

Refund/cancellation policy:

Refunds or exchange on returned goods are conditional on the basis that:

1) You have contacted us in the first instance and we have agreed to such return.

2) Any goods returned for refund must be undamaged mechanically or electronically.

3) Returned goods must be returned within the stated warranty period or within 2 weeks as applicable.

4) They are returned with carriage costs paid by the sender.

5) Any refund will have reasonable costs incurred by us deducted.

6) We will make your refund within 48 hours of receipt of returned goods, assuming they meet the requirements of 2) above.

NOTE: If you returns goods that are not faulty, we reserve the right to charge you for our time for testing and any return postage costs.

About Us

John Speake founded JDSPorsche in 2002 in Cambridge, England having owned a 928 Porsche since 1999.

It was soon apparent that the 928 had a bad reliability reputation for LH ECU failure, MAF problems and general electrical issues. There appeared to be a general lack of expert knowledge of the 928's electrical systems available to owners.

To compound this, the prices for replacement exchange MAFs and LH ECUs from the Official Porsche Centres were very high, relative to the values of the vehicle.

With a background in electronics John started to investigate the reasons for MAF failures, and then to offer rebuilt units to other owners.

This lead in turn to developing a repair strategy for the notoriously unreliable LH ECU used in the MY 87 and later 32 valve 928's.

JDSPorsche can also offer performance upgrades in the form of ECU chips, Radiator fan output stage repair and 3 & 6 pin CDI repairs for the early 911 along with a few select spares such as the Lateral Acceleration Sensor.
