This is a replacement for the Lateral Acceleration Sensor (LAS) used on several Porsche models:-


  • 928 1989-93
  • 968 1992-1995
  • 964 (911 Carrera 2/4) 1989- 1994
  • 993 (911 Carrera) 1994-1998


The Porsche part numbers are 928 606 153 00 and 993 606 153 00.

The corresponding Bosch part numbers is 0 265 005 100. or F 026 T00 500


These devices use a very old technology involving a swinging pendulum and a Hall sensor. They are increasingly prone to failure.


This JDSPorsche completely re-engineered equivalent uses a solid state acceleration sensor and precision signal processing with no moving parts. Its mountings are compatible with the unit it replaces.  Supplied with new stainless steel screws.
